The Heritage Day Festival and Parade is an annual grassroots event. It has received a proclamation from San Diego City Officials declaring the last Saturday in February as Heritage Day for all cultures. Its rich tradition and history have become a social and economical constant in the heart of San Diego. Therefore it received proclamation in 1996 from City Officials, declaring the last Saturday in February, as ?Heritage Day? for all cultures.
