A fundraiser for Gawad Kalinga (?to give care?) to provide land for landless, homes for homeless, food for hungry, and dignity and peace for every Filipino is at 5:30 PM at Spreckels Theater, 121 Broadway, Downtown. The event includes dinner, a premiere of ?Pasaiso? and keynote speaker Tony Meloto, GK founder. Tickets are $150 ($100 tax-deductible to build houses in San Diego?s name).
