Spend the day at Balboa Park's international cottages during its annual Ethnic Food Fair, which takes place Sunday, May 27. Taste the foods, sing the songs and dance the dances, all at Pan American Road and Presidents Way, just off Park Boulevard.
The annual Ethnic Food Fair serves as a fundraiser for the international cottages in Balboa Park. The cottages, which are manned by good-spirited volunteers, are part of the park's House of Pacific Relations.
Cottages participating in the event include Argentina, Austria, China, Colombia, Czech and Slovak Republics, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, Palestine, Panama, Peru, Philippine Islands, Poland, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States.
