San Diego Folk Heritage will be celebrating Sam Hinton's 90th birthday with the return of the Sam Hinton Folk Celebration 2007. The festival is back--refreshed, renamed and revitalized!

Join us for a performance schedule that includes the best of our San Diego based performers who will be appearing at the parks gazebo stage. Lou and Virginia Curtiss will be our featured artists this year. We've got folk singers, Old time musicians, bluegrass, singer-songwriters, blues and western (cowboy) music. Try your musical skills on our professionally equipped open mike stage this year. We'll also have all day Jams. Music and more music--a day of picking, singing, relaxing and being part of that great tradition known as the Sam Hinton Folk Celebration.

We'll also have Contra dancing in Templars Hall, workshops, storytellers and crafters. This year's celebration is free to all who come. We're holding the celebration in Old Poway Park.
