Rondalla Workshops conducted by PASACAT on Wednesdays through August 29, 6?7:00 PM, at PASACAT Center. Participants will examine indigenous percussive instruments including the gangsa, drums, assortment of bamboo instruments from Cordillera of northern Luzon; agong and kulintang from Mindanao. Primary focus on more complex string instruments of the Rondalla: the bandurria, laod, octavina. No musical experience required. Instruments, materials, music sheets provided.
