Mo`olelo Matinee at RASHOMON - Mo`olelo Performing Arts Company's Artistic Director Seema Sueko is appearing in North Coast Repertory Theatre's summer production of RASHOMON, and we invite you to join us for a Mo`olelo Matinee at RASHOMON on Sunday, August 12. Pupus and a Performance. A reception with drinks and appetizers followed by a performance of RASHOMON. Perspective is everything. This theatrical dramatization of the ancient Japanese fables of wisdom offers excitement, passion and swordplay. Examine one story from three angles ? a husband and wife are walking through the forest when a bandit comes upon them. In the end the husband is dead ? but who killed him? Whose truth is true? A dynamic world of imagination unfurls in this lively and inventive classic. About RASHOMON: Written by Fay & Michael Kanin based on the stories by Ryunosuke Akutagawa & the masterpiece 1950 film adaptation by Akira Kurosawa. Directed by David Ellenstein. All proceeds will benefit Mo`olelo, a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, and our upcoming production of Cowboy Versus Samurai. Sunday, August 12 (The closing performance).
