Santana fans will recognize Michael Rios work from the years of creating art for his CD covers, posters, stage backdrops
and all that is Santana. Michael has also created CD art for Steve Winwood,
Poncho Sanchez, MALO and many others along with creating the art work for
the 2002 Latin Grammy's. Kathleen Carrillo's work can be seen in galleries
throughout the U.S. and has won her many awards through the years. Arte
Latino will be displaying works from her Jazz collection. Chikle's work is
thought provoking and humorous using great images from bullfighters to
suicidal T.V. sets and world leaders to get across his message of social and
political awareness. Carlos Beltran is a leader in the San Diego underground
art world. A visual artist and photographer his work captures the Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the Beautiful sides of life. We will be showing works from his Body Art series I collection.
To see our new exhibit you can come by and visit the 24K Gallery at 1616 National Ave. in Barrio Logan from 9am-5pm Monday thru Friday (please call before coming by, 619-702-2400). The exhibit is also showing at the Ultra Star Theater in Hazard Center at 7510 Hazard Center Drive in Mission Valley. The exhibit will be showing from Saturday August 4th until Monday September 3rd with a closing reception on Saturday August 25th.
