San Diegans will have the rare opportunity to experience true Native American culture at the 37th Annual Barona Powwow taking place on Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 2. During this three-day event, Native Americans from across the country will showcase traditional Tribal dances and compete for cash and prizes totaling more than $50,000. The Barona Powwow will also feature dance exhibitions, singing and music, authentic cuisine and exquisite handcrafted arts and jewelry. The festivities will take place at the Barona Baseball Field (just one mile north of the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino) on the Barona Indian Reservation at 1095 Barona Road in Lakeside.
