13th Annual Little Italy Precious Festa 2-Day Event
Little Italy will come alive with the largest Italian festival outside of New York City! Take pleasure in fine wine, lively music, and delicious food. See creations of incredible sidewalk chalk art, and a motorsport show. A shoppers paradise will offer a wide range of fine Italian merchandise.
In 1994, a dream came to fruition. In the month of October the Little Italy community opened its streets to not only San Diego residents, but the many other communities throughout the nation.
The Little Italy Association and a small group of community members organized a festival that celebrated Italian culture not only in the entertainment provided, on the one stage, but the types of vendors that were allowed to display their wares along India Street.
On that beautiful day in October of 1994, Little Italy greeted its first, but minimal, crowd and as the years went on, the Little Italy Festa grew into the Little Italy Precious Festa; when the Little Italy Association joined with a community partner, Precious Cheese, in 2000.
Now, the Little Italy Precious Festa is known to be one of the largest single-day Italian American festivals West of the Mississippi. The Little Italy community now welcomes over 100,000 attendees with the tantalizing smells of Italian sausage and the glamour of the Italian culture, music & art.
