We look forward to meet you either at the Mexican side in Playas de Tijuana or at the Border Field state Park on the American side for a Fandango on both sides of the border. The fandango is a popular celegbration from Veracruz in which people gather to play Son Jarocho around dancers zapateando on a tarima. In this border fandango there will be zapateado lessons and the participation of aritists and enthusiasts from Ensenada, Tijuana, Mexicali, San Diego, Santa Ana, and Los Angeles. This is an open space for everyone to participate, either playing, dancing, singing or saying decimas, relating community. We would like to count on your participation in a place where the wall cannot divide us. Son Jarocho will unite all of us in one voice, one tarima, and one dance. If possible, please bring some food and drinks to share. For more information, please visit
