Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Rhythms of India: The Art of Nandalal Bose (1882-1966), this favorite spring festival will feature a wide variety of activities on the art and culture of India for families. Celebrate spring and the Vasant Utsava festival in India with an afternoon of hands-on activities, including sari and yoga demonstrations, henna designs, rice flour floor painting, paper-mache, and more! Enjoy performances of traditional Indian music and learn about different dance forms. Visit Rhythms of India to listen to stories, view the art, and take a tour in English or Spanish.
