The local community is invited to see what is behind the doors of its bright red Point Loma hostel with an Open House on May 8, 2008.
The open house will start at 6:00 PM, and a travel poetry reading will take place at 7:30 PM, with original and classic poetry around the theme of travel. Community members are invited to submit original poetry to the San Diego Council. Please go to the website for details.
The Open House will feature international cuisine and tours of the hostel. HI-USA, San Diego Council Board members and staff will also be available to answer questions about Hostelling International. Admission is $10, including dinner and a chance to win door prizes.
