Guinean musician Prince Diabat? will be performing on the kora (a 21-string harp-lute) at Acoustic Music San Diego.
Diabat?'s music moves between the traditions of Manden music and modern fusion, reggae, rap and blues. Recently, he has adapted the music of the Wassolou to his repertoire, which he plays, self-taught and kora-style, on the kamelen n'goni.
