A lecture with Mauricio Merino, a doctorate degree in Political Science from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. In addition, he is a professor and researcher in the Public Administration Division of the Centro de Investigaci?n y Docencia Econ?micas (CIDE) in Mexico City. He is national researcher level II of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) and regular member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. He has undertaken research projects in various areas: public policy, local governments, professionalization and civil service, transparency, and ethics in the public sector. He has written and coordinated several books and papers addressing these topics.
