Each year the Museum of Making Music hosts An Evening of Note, a gala that raises awareness and garners support for the Museum's educational programs, exhibitions and special events. All proceeds from the evening support our educational programs and special exhibitions.
At its 2008 annual gala, the Museum of Making Music will honor Ravi Shankar. The evening will include succulent hors d'oeuvres, live music, traditional dance, a live and silent auction, and a special ceremony honoring our esteemed guest, Ravi Shankar, within an atmosphere that kindles an appreciation of the joy, beauty and importance of music and music making.
