You'll be entertained by lively Philippine music and costumed dance performances at Balboa Park. House of the Philippines will be open for visitors where you can see unique displays and learn about their homeland culture. Typical Foods served are pancit (noodles with meat and vegetables), lumpia (beef or vegetable rolled in a flour wrap), adobo (pork or chicken prepared in vinegar and soy sauce) and leche flan (custard).

June 12th is a National Holiday in the Philippines. The Philippine Islands were liberated from Spain in 1898 on that day.

Location: International Cottages at Balboa Park, 2125 Park Boulevard. (Outdoor courtyard lawn area among the Houses of Pacific Relations near President's Way)
