From 10 AM to midnight, the Kumiai community of San Antonio Necua presents its annual festival (originally scheduled for June 13), a cultural gathering of Yuman tribes (Pai-Pai, Cucapah, Kiliwa and Kumiai) with traditional dancers and bird singers, an intertribal piak tournament, arts and crafts exhibitions, a bonfire at sunset, and complimentary meals. Admission is free. For a small fee, participate in guided nature hikes and craft workshops. Camping is available for $5 dlls./night per vehicle with up to 5 persons. The community is located off Ensenada-Tecate Highway 3 at Km. 73.5.
