Play: Wait a Minute Men!

Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
The play is inspired by the border crisis that San Diego has experienced in the last few years. The characters are activists who fight for the human rights of the Mexican and Central American day laborers, and groups like the San Diego Minutemen. The work, although fictitious, uses facts and arguments based on real life and tries to offer a balanced perspective of the crisis. The day laborers are in the middle of the political battles at all levels. Michael Mufson and Carlos von Son have created a metaphor to show the day laborers as victims of history and marginalization in both countries, who are caught between many social and cultural realities.
