The San Diego Public Library, in partnership with Media Arts Center San Diego and PBS? Point-of-View (POV) Series, will host a preview screening of 9 Star Hotel by Israeli filmmaker Ido Haar. The film documents the lives of a group of young Palestinian men working illegally as construction laborers in Israel.
Thomas Reifer, Ph.D., an assistant professor of sociology and ethnic studies at the University of San Diego, will facilitate a discussion after the screening.
