Border Meetup - Alma latina Dance Company
Come celebrate at the Salsa dancing Encuentro. The only place along the SD/TJ border where people can be in two different countries while at same party! Alma Latina Dance Company will start the afternoon with a free Salsa Dancing lesson for participants who don't know how to Salsa or want to grab some new skills to show off at the party. Dancing is not an absolute requirement, but they'll be plenty of opportunity as they'll have the music blasting at the fence line the whole time and plenty of willing partners. Alma Latina Dance Company almalatina.com recently qualified for the World Championship Salsa Dancing competition and may do a performance.
Some Details:
1. Free lesson at 3PM sharp.
2. Pot-luck affair - Bring your favorite dish with enough food for about 2-3 people.
3. To enter the park from the US side, there is a $5 dollar per car load fee. So it'd be a good idea to carpool or take pub. trans. or join from the Mexican side

4. Getting there. A few options:

- If you take Public trans ride the trolley to the Iris Station and call us and well have someone go pick you up (its about 4miles away from the park)
Admission: Free for lesson, $5 dollar per car load fee.
