Join artist Yvonne Venegas as she discusses her work featured in the exhibition Memory Is Your Image of Perfection, on view at Museum of Contemporary Art's 1001 Kettner galleries. Born in Long Beach, California and raised in Tijuana, Venegas uses photography to investigate sharpening social and economic contrasts in Mexico. In the photographic series titled The Most Beautiful Brides of Baja California, her candid images of weddings, showers, and birthday parties critically examine and document Tijuana's upper class.
