Annual Hillcrest City Fest & Book Fair

A spectacular annual arts and crafts festival held along a mile-long venue that stretches along Fifth Avenue, from University Ave to Upas Street, near Balboa Park. Tons of vendors, two music stages, a beer garden, day-long give-aways. The Hillcrest Book Fair is held in conjunction with this event where exhibitors and book sellers come together to offer a fine array of books. There will also be book appraisals and author readings. Books of every sort and subject will be there, so come and browse through them.
