Welcome to Taste of Asia (TOA)!
Taste of Asia is an annual charity program hosted by diverse Asian community organizations collaborating to present an entertaining public event to benefit various charitable organizations assisting the less fortunate. The event will include food tasting, cultural activities and ethic entertainments.
This event will showcase the goodwill collaboration of over ten organizations to present the best offerings from Asia. Attendees will be able to enjoy delicious food prepared by 20 to 30 local authentic restaurants from different Asian cultures. Interactive cultural and educational activities, and amazing live ethnic entertainments will be available throughout the event. This year, the event is slated for September 27th at the International Cottages in Balboa Park
Most importantly, this is a fully volunteer-based program and 100% of all proceeds are donated to various needy programs in Asia.
This year, our Taste of Asia charity program's focus is on educational programs. Non-profit organizations founded to rebuild much needed schools are desperately in need of financial assistance, especially after the recent disasters in the region. Our goal is to assist indigenous organizations with a successful track record in rebuilding schools for underprivileged children in Asia.
Admission: $15 ($5 for charity donation, $10 cover first 10 Tastings!)
