One of the highlights of the Festival is the Voyage of Discovery aboard the tall ship Lynx.
Climb aboard the Lynx and step back in time on September 28, 2008 for the Cabrillo Festival commemorating the discovery of San Diego Bay on 28 September 1542 by Juan Rodriquez Cabrillo as he Climbed out of his boat and onto shore on 1542, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo stepped into history as the first European to set foot on what is now the West Coast of the United States. Lynx will sail along side the Californian and relive this time in history.
