2nd Annual San Diego Walk for Darfur

The purpose of the 2nd San Diego Walk for Darfur is to bring together people from the San Diego Community to show their solidarity for the people of Darfur, to use our collective voice to help stop this genocide and to raise funds for a humanitarian project that American Jewish World Service is involved with in Darfur. Funds raised will help to support several projects in Internally Displaced Camps in Darfur that work with women and children, all victims of trauma, in a variety of educational, psychological and social programs.

Participating in the 2nd San Diego Walk for Darfur is a great way to get actively involved. This family-oriented event is perfect for everyone--all age groups and fitness levels. You can choose to run, jog or walk approximately 2 or 4 miles in beautiful Mission Bay Park.

Times: Online registration ends on Saturday, March 28th at 4:00 p.m.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
Rally begins at 10:30 a.m.

Admission:
Ages 6 and under - Free (Does not include T-Shirt)
Ages 7-17 - $15
Ages 18+ - $25
No credit cards accepted on the day of the Walk--cash or checks only. T-shirts will be provided with registration fee until they are gone.
