San Diego County Fair's theme for this year is "Music Mania." While most of the music is American rock and pop, several more internationally flavored acts, in including a Latin "Battle of the Bands" will be playing at this year's fair. In addition to lots and lots of music there will be numerous competitions and exhibits, including fine arts, livestock, children's art, gems, minerals, home arts; fun zone with rides, games; commercial exhibits; food; and some rather silly contests (bubblegum blowing, pie eating).
