Athenaeum Summer Festival 2009

Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library’s Summer Festival has become a cherished tradition in San Diego. This is a year of anniversaries: the 200th anniversary of the death of Franz Joseph Haydn, the 200th anniversary of the birth of Felix Mendelssohn, and the 250th anniversary of the death of George Frideric Handel. World-renowned pianist Gustavo Romero will bring his style and grace to the works of these three composers.

Make an evening of a Summer Festival performance, with beautiful music followed by a relaxing dinner in a private home or at the Athenaeum. All concerts begin at 4:00 p.m. at The Neurosciences Institute. Dinners are immediately following.
