Pack your blankets and picnic basket for a free outdoor screening of the hilarious family film, "Ping Pong Playa," at Market Creek Plaza Amphitheater. Screening is presented by the San Diego Asian Film Foundation, I Am the Movement and the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation.
Directed by Jessica Yu, "Ping Pong Playa," is a comedic look at the life of "C-Dub," an underachieving Asian American man, who dreams of making it into the NBA. When bad luck strikes his family of ping pong champions, C-Dub is forced to trade in his basketball to defend his family’s honor.
