Chicano Park is home to more than 40 historic murals. When San Diego County Archaeological Society meets, Marty Rosen, heritage resource coordinator for Caltrans District 11, discusses history of the murals, Caltrans' success obtaining a $1.6 million grant to restore them, restoration work starting in six months.
