Join Otay Ranch Town Center every Wednesday in September for the Que Viva Cine Latino! film series in the food pavilion. The series features live entertainment followed by a fantastic Latino film.
On September 23, Folklorico Nahuatlan will perform dance from 6:30 - 7:30. Afterward is a screening of the film Perez 2.
A summary:
"The small Lucas (Mathias Sandor) spends the summer with his sister Ana, and mother, a prestigious concert pianist, who has been contracted by a shifty businessman named Penkoff (Manuel Manquina). When Lucas loses a baby tooth, he decides to stay up and be wide-awake for the legendary Raton Perez (Alejandro Awada), just to make sure he actually exists. Lucas wonders, 'With so many children in the world, how does Perez gather up all those teeth?' Unfortunatly, Lucas won't find out, because the devious Penkoff has kidnapped Perez for his own greedy wishes."
