Yudhisthir is an accomplished artist who had his initial training from the Gurus who were instrumental in reviving this two century old spiritual artform. He has traveled all over India and a number of countries abroad both for solo performance and for performance as part of bigger troupes. He has been the teachers-in-residence for Center for World Music teaching Odissi to local students as well as in San Diego county schools as part of a NEA grant to promote World Music in Schools.
Laboni and Shalini have been trained in Odissi from their early childhood and have presented Odissi in USA, Canada, India and Bali . They have been trained by Guru Gangadhar Pradhan, Manoranjan Pradhan, Aruna Mohanty and Yudhisthir Nayak for extended periods helping the sisters master the techniques of Odissi. Presented by the Center for World Music and Related Arts.
