In 2007, Stanford University student, Sarah Golabek-Goldman, traveled to Poland to teach English in a small Polish village. While there, she also visited the towns where her family lived before World War II to search for Poles who remembered her relatives. This movie explores Polish-Jewish relations as well as Sarah?s personal journey to discover her ancestral roots. Join the San Diego Jewish Genealogical Society in viewing this poignant illustration of how much these two groups have to say to one another in an attempt to heal old hatreds. After the film there will be a questions and answer period followed by personal accounts of members who have traveled to the ?old country? in search of their family roots.
