Now in its sixth year at Museum of Photographic Arts, the San Diego Italian Film Festival has grown into an amazing conduit to enjoy Italian culture. In its entirety, the San Diego Italian Film Festival runs from October 26 through November 11, and features 17 spectacular Italian movies that evoke laughter, tears, and passion.
Tonight, the San Diego Italian Film Festival presents Rosso Come il Cielo (Red Like the Sky) (2006), an Italian drama film directed by Cristiano Bortone. This marvelous film is inspired by the true story of Mirco Mencacci, one of the most gifted Italian sound editors working today, who happens to be blind.
